Built around cold fresh water and narrow country lanes

icon Frais médicaux

Panic in the lake or a ditch on the lanes, up to €150,000

Cold fresh water tightens the chest and a crowded first wave turns into hyperventilation for plenty of novices. Out on the lanes, a wheel on loose gravel ends in the hedge. Your medical costs are covered up to €150,000, from the ambulance to the operating table.

icon Transport et rapatriement

Carried off the estate and flown home at actual cost

The grounds are large and the nearest emergency department is not on the lake shore. An injury here can leave an overseas starter stuck in a British hospital bed. Assistance and repatriation are covered at actual cost, including the journey back to your own home.

icon Option compétition

Timing chip on, every other race of the year included

Even a super-sprint has a start list, a chip and a result, which makes it official competition. The Competition option covers you at Woodstock and on every race you enter this season, at home or abroad, with training sessions included.

icon Capital invalidité

Permanent damage from the bike leg, up to €200,000

Oxfordshire lanes mix traffic, blind bends and high hedges, and a bike crash there can permanently limit how you move and work. The permanent disability capital reaches €200,000, paid according to the assessed rate, so the financial side does not pile onto the physical one.

The mistakes first-timers make on this course

A beginner-friendly race collects beginner mistakes. People sprint the first hundred metres of a lake swim, breathe badly and panic. They dismount with shoes still strapped in. They run on wet grass and estate gravel in shoes bought the week before. Very few injuries at Blenheim come from pushing a limit, most come from being new.

June is one weekend out of fifty-two. Autumn rides, winter lengths and spring training camps fill the rest of the year, and that is where most reported injuries happen. Annual triathlon insurance covers those quiet training weeks as well as race day, in your own country and on any start line abroad.
