Why insure your esport practice?

Esport looks safe, but hours of daily training strain the body: carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist tendonitis, neck and back pain are common among competitive players of the International Esports Federation scene. Standard contracts treat gaming as a simple hobby, and physiotherapy costs add up quickly.

A dedicated personal accident insurance takes over: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are covered according to your guarantees, in training as at tournaments. You can then focus on your ranking with a free mind.

If you are injured during esport training or a tournament, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.

3. Keep all your supporting documents. Initial medical certificate, reports, prescriptions, test results and invoices: they are essential to process your claim.
