Why insure your camogie practice?

Camogie, the women's version of hurling, is played at high intensity: the sliotar flies at over 100 km/h, hurleys clash and shoulder contact is part of the rules. Fractures, bruises and sprains are common, and standard contracts poorly cover Gaelic sports.

Dedicated cover changes the game: medical expenses, transport, rehabilitation and disability are handled according to your guarantees, in training as in championships. You defend your club colours, we defend you.

Yes. Camogie is played from a young age: minors can be insured through a parent or legal guardian, in training as in championships.

If you are injured during camogie training or a match, follow these steps.

1. Contact the assistance service first. Before any medical expense, call the assistance number shown on your card. Its prior approval is required before any hospitalisation, surgery, medical transport or repatriation.

2. Follow the assistance instructions. Except in a life-threatening emergency, wait for its approval before incurring costs. It will direct you to the most suitable facility and organise your care according to your cover. Expenses incurred without prior approval cannot be reimbursed.
