Up to €200,000 per person. Mulsanne speeds (340 km/h Hypercar) generate colossal kinetic energy. A crash at these speeds can cause polytrauma, serious vertebral fractures, head trauma. 24 hours cumulate fatigue, night relays, changing conditions (rain, fog).

24 Hours Le Mans, mythical race created 1923, remain endurance auto's flagship. Three categories coexist : Hypercar (Toyota GR010, Ferrari 499P 2023-2025 winner, Porsche 963, Cadillac V-Series.R, Peugeot 9X8, BMW M Hybrid V8), LMP2 (Oreca 07, Ligier JS P217 prototypes), LMGT3 (Aston Martin, Corvette, Lexus, Lamborghini, Ferrari 296, Porsche 911). Speeds reach 340 km/h on Hunaudières straight (Mulsanne). Drivers (3 per crew) relay 24 hours with cumulative fatigue, night relays, changing weather. Risks massive : high-speed crashes, off-tracks, between-category contacts (Hypercar vs GT3 speeds = 50 km/h gap). World WEC requires global cover.
